I haven't been so excited about Christmas since I was a kid myself. You're at an age now where you understand Santa, gifts, and everything else about the holiday. You were so excited to see presents waiting under the tree this morning. For the first time as a parent, I experienced my son waking me up on Christmas morning in a fit of unusual excitement about what had occurred in the family room while we were asleep. You tore through your presents and celebrated after each one. The best part was watching you express gratitude. I'm very proud of the little boy you've grown to be, and I hope you realize how much you are loved - this Christmas and every other day of your life.
